Home Sweet Home

Bailey went home from the hospital yesterday. She is getting the hang of all of this stuff. She's so smart and I am so incredibly proud of her. I wish I had taken my camera to the hospital so that I could post a picture of her here. I'll find one from camp and post it later. I know some of you can't believe that she is already 12 years old. She is such a sweet, mature little lady now. She and her parents will be back to the hospital next Wednesday for an all day class so please pray that God will have their minds prepared to take in all the information they need. This is definitely a manageable disease, but it is one that is semi-complicated. They are getting so much information thrown at them in such a short period of time. We'll be praying for them that they will know what questions to ask and feel secure with the knowledge that they gain.

Thank you to EVERYONE for your prayers. God is so good!!! I thank God for friends like all of you who are willing to take a few moments out of your day to pray for someone/something that doesn't necessarily directly affect you! I praise God for all of you!!!

I'm one of those people that can't believe that Bailey is already 12. I have a pictures from camp where Kari and Dava are passing out mail and Kari is big pregnant with Bailey. At least I'm pretty sure it's Bailey, it could be Sam. Either way, I remember both of them as little kids at camp. Kari and Patrick have raise 4 wonderful children!

Thanks to all of you who are praying for our family! We are so blessed to be part of such an incredible extended family. I am amazed at how far reaching God's family is, and how quickly word spreads. We love everyone of you and have felt so surrounded by your prayers!

You are such a great commentor on all my posts! I am horrible! I am so glad your neice has gotten to go home! I know she has a lot to learn, but it is great that her parents are right beside her in this. I'll be praying for her as she learns to take care of her body and manage this!

JB, Thanks so much for keeping everyone updated on how I am doing. To anyone else reading this, I am doing well now and am getting used to everything. Thank you to all who have been praying and thinking about us during this time in my life. It means a lot to me to know that I have a wonderful family and Christian family who care about me and love me. I will keep Juli Beth updated about how things are going. Thanks again,

Bailey
