We have been really busy this past weekend and week redoing our kitchen floor. We ripped up the old floor, scraped and prepped, and laid the new floor down. We still have the utility room to do and our two bathrooms, but we're getting there. I will post some fun pics of the process later. I'm in kind of a hurry right now.
I've also got a new haircut that I really like this time. I'll try to get a cute picture of it and post it with the kitchen pics.
Wade has been sick with respiratory stuff this week. Please pray for him to regain his health. We are going to be EXTREMELY busy this weekend and I want him to be able to participate in all of our activities. Friday night we are having a "Night of Camp" as a fundraiser for our camp session. We will have kids that are camp age for 5 hours doing camp activities to get them excited about going. Saturday morning we are having a staff training session for half of the day and then Sunday we are having a Pancake Brunch fundraiser. We are going to be really busy, but I'm ready to get excited about camp. This year our session is going to be Saturday, June 7-Wednesday, June 11. My last day of work is the 6th. Yikes!!! I'll work all week while packing for all 5 of us and then we will hit the road as soon as I get home from work. Ugghhh!!! I'm going to start camp exhausted.
Have I mentioned lately that my mother is deserting me for 4 weeks????? :) Just kidding. Well, not really. She is leaving for 4 weeks, but it has worked out really well for us. The week of April 14th she and my dad will be sailing with my aunt and uncle. That week Jana Kay will be staying at their house and keeping my kids for me during the day. The weeks of April 21st-May5th she will be in Germany for one of her mission trips. The week of April 21st David's parents will have Lafe and Joseph for "Gran & Papa Camp." The week of April 28th our former preacher's daughter, Karissa Taylor, will be here to watch them. Finally, the week of May 6th, the two younger boys will be staying with my sister, Dava Lynn, in Abilene. I'm excited that it has all worked out so well for us, but a little sad that it means two weeks that my little boys will be away from me. Oh well. I know they'll be taken care of and happy!!!
Until next time....

That sounds insane!!! What are you gonna do with yourself the 2 weeks you have only one kid?!?
Wow! That's a lot of STUFF! I'd have a hard time wrapping my head around it all. I'll bet the next few months are just going to FLY for you guys!
juli... if you want to tell dava that week the boys are staying her, I would love to keep the boys for a couple hours if it would help her out! hope you have a wonderful day! love you!!!!
That's a lot of time to be away from home, but it'll give you some good time with Wade. Is he sad that he's going to miss out?
Hello, Ledbetter Family! I haven't visited your blog in quite a while (normally I read it at work, but I've had a job change that doesn't allow for quite so much websurfing--substitute teaching!). I must say, though, I absolutely love the post about mothers being cathedrals--my mom's birthday is coming up, so hopefully I can make her feel like the master designer she is. Hope you all are doing well and that we continue to hear from you. Jeffrey enjoyed David's email the other day.
Lauren Oglesby EDWARDS!
