Thank you for all of you who were thinking of us as we went about our crazy weekend!!! We ended up raising $1300 this weekend for our camp session. God is so good! Our staff was able to meet together and it was a great step in getting us excited about going to camp. I would love for any of you that have children who are finishing grades KG-6th to send them to our session. We would love to have them!!!
Lafe and Joseph spent the night on Saturday with David's parents. Joseph came home running a fever over 100*. I checked out his ears and David called our doctor on Monday. He prescribed him an antibiotic for his little ear infections. On top of the ear infections, Joseph is trying to cut his two top teeth. Yeah! He might actually be able to eat something once he has more than two bottom teeth. Can you believe it? He will be 16 months old in two days and he only has two teeth. My other two boys were late cutting their first teeth as well, but they kept cutting them once they started. It has been almost 5 months since he cut his first teeth. So fun!!! I hope they come through soon because he's a little grumpy. For anyone who knows Joseph, you know that is not typical for him. I hope to post some pictures sometime soon. I am EXHAUSTED lately when I get home and have done dinner and then put the boys to bed.
I also wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my Grandma Mary and my cousin Mary Ann. I know that Kari Ann and Daniel had lunch with Grandma today. I was hoping to go see her this weekend, but she might go home with Mary Ann today. We'll see. If she doesn't, I am going to make a weekend trip to see her. I LOVE HER SO MUCH!!!!!!

I think the worst part about being an adult around kids with ear infections is that we don't remember how much they hurt! I worked with LOTS of toddlers when I lived in OK, and they had ear infections all the time, but I figured it was just a little irritation that bothered them because they were so little. NOT TRUE! I got an ear infection in college, and will forever feel for those little kids who have to deal with it!
I'm so glad your weekend was a success! I know first hand how important that is for camp!
Sorry it's been so crazy lately...I can realate, hang in there! Love You!
Congrats on the fundraising. That's exciting! Have fun with Grandma. From what I've heard, you get her!
