Joseph

My Baby turned 1 on the 11th. I still can't believe it!!! He is absolutely precious. Joseph has always been a very good baby. Here are some pictures to remind us all of his first year! These are only a few of the sweet pictures I have. There are two things that have never changed about Joseph. He has always had the most beautiful and inviting smile and he has always been HUGE. I can't wait to take him to the doctor next Wednesday to see how much he weighs and how long he is. Everyone keeps telling me that he will slim down when he starts walking, but he's started and I'm not seeing much of a change. We'll see next week. He has one tooth and is walking short distances. He has figured out that it is still faster to crawl everywhere so he's not pro yet, but that is perfectly fine with me!!!

Yes, he sucks his thumb. Actually, he has just lately started sucking his index fingers. I have tried so hard to get him to like the binki, but he comes by the thumb sucking honestly! It is kinda cute. (This picture was from when we had our garage sale. Joseph escaped out of the house and he crawled out in the leaves. He was a mess!)

This is the smile we got the morning of his birthday after we sang Happy Birthday to him. Wade and Lafe were so excited to sing to him. It was really sweet. They have been so excited at every little thing. They were very happy when his first tooth broke through, when he took his first steps, and Lafe is constantly telling me that he has said his first word. It's different everytime, but any sound he makes that is at all similar to a word is his first word according to Lafe. It's so sweet!!!

The boys gave Joseph a bath toy set for his birthday and they immediately wanted to take a bath with him. It was a little crowded, but very sweet.

Thanks for letting me share with you! I'm having a little bit of a hard time with this birthday. I guess because it's the last. I don't know. Part of it may just be that I'm pretty emotional lately. Who knows!!! I LOVE MY BOYS!!!
