Tooting Our Horn This Morning!

Ok, this is David...I have commandeered JB's blog and I am going to brag about her for a minute. First of all- Merry Christmas! Santa did a great job in my opinion this year! Now on to the bragging! Juli Beth is such an amazing woman. This past semester has shown us how much she can take on at one time, and succeed at it all too! On top of being a mother to two boys, loving wife to a big boy, busy member of many ministries at church, she also became a student again this fall, and was pregnant on top of that. I don't think I am forgetting anything, if so, I am sure she will update me after she reads this. Oh yeah- she is a successful nurse, much loved and looked up to at work. So this semester many of you know she went back to school- Texas Tech University (Go Red Raiders). She is working toward her Bachelor's Degree with one semester under her belt now and one more left to go. My amazing wife mothered two boys who are full of life and energy all the while she was taking 15 credit hours through online courses. The nice part about online courses is there is no driving to campus, parking in the north 40 and walking to class. However, instead she did have online chats she had to participate in, more papers to write than either one of us wants to remember for now, and projects to get together. All of her hard work paid off though- 4 A's and one B, the B by the way was an 88 I think if you convert it to a number grade and had the professor given her papers back so she could see what to improve on there is no doubt in my mind that she would have 5 A's. So now, my wife who has no inkling of intention to go on to graduate school after this has a better GPA than I do and I am the one who wants to go on to grad school soon. People at work love her too- they recognize what a spiritual woman she is, come to her for advice, and they are giving her more responsibilities at work. Last, let us not forget that she was pregnant during this whole time too! Two of those weeks were spent on bedrest which contrary to what one would think- was hard to get through. I could go on and on about how hard she has worked as a mom, wife, friend, student, nurse but it would take all day. Just know that I love her and am so incredibly proud of her. Keep us in your prayers as she finishes up her degree this spring and we do all this craziness over again! Merry Christmas everybody!
