So Proud!

Wade's last day of school was yesterday. I went to his awards ceremony and was again overwhelmed. The kids love him, the teachers love him, and other parents love him. What more could I ask for?

I'll post all of the different awards he got later. They are in his room and he's asleep.

I wanted to share this with you though, Wade was 1 of 8 3rd graders to make the A Honor Roll ALL YEAR LONG.

He's never made a B. A funny story about that: A couple weeks ago he made a grid that had his aunt's initials at the top and on the side it said ES (Elem school), MS (Middle School), HS (High School), and C (college). When David asked him what it was, he said he was going to call all of his aunt's and ask them when they got their first B. He was going to mark it in the grid. Not sure what brought that on, but he's really excited that he hasn't made a B yet. Keep in mind that he is in advanced Math and next year will be in a special upper-level 4th grade classroom. We couldn't be prouder! We love him so much.

Above all of this academic stuff, we love Wade for his tender heart and his desire to please God. Just tonight he was telling us about his prayers to God that He will take care of the sale of our house and that we will make the wisest choice in buying a new home. He also has started a private Bible study with one of our elders on Wednesday nights because he wanted to go deeper into the Bible than he was able to do in our new Wednesday night thing we're doing. I love that boy so much!!!!!!!
