Mary and Joseph

So, Joseph thinks everytime we talk about Joseph and Mary (Jesus' parents) we are talking about him and my Grandma Mary!!! It is so funny.

The other night he had a blanket on his head and shoulders. It was kind of like you see in the pictures from stories in the Bible. Wade made a comment about how he looked like Mary. Joseph turned around with a really funny look on his face and said "I'm not Grandma!!!" We busted out laughing. After that Wade told him he looked more like Joseph and that made a lot more sense to him.

After church last night we were driving home and we were asking each of the kids about their class and what they had learned about. Joseph always says he learned "Jesus loves me." Great lesson, but David knew they had talked about Joseph and Mary. So, he asked who the people were on the board they were talking about. David said "Wasn't one of them Joseph?" Joseph said "And Grandma!" We all laughed so hard. I thought I was going to wet my pants.

Grandma, sorry I couldn't remember the story from in the car very well today when we talked. I had to wait for David to get home from work to remind me how it really played out. Can't wait to see you soon! I love you!!!
