I do not particularly like to talk politics. I will admit that I am usually way too underinformed when it comes to our government. However, I am trying through this election to keep myself more informed because I believe that it is my responsibility not only as an American, but mostly my responsibility as a CHRISTIAN!!! Please watch these videos. They were sent to me by a dear friend at church. Let's all try to keep ourselves informed and make the best decisions we can with the most information we can get.

Those are powerful videos. I wish our votes here counted for a bit more, but it's going to be no surprise when McCain gets the vote in TX. I hope more people in swing states are watching these.
The U.S.government and most its citizens spend beyond their budget and now everyone wonders why we're in trouble?!?!? What are we teaching our children? Materialism? Entitlement? Greed?
I was just reading another blog and found she was praying for the elections with this scripture ... thought of you.
"May the Lord, the God of the spirits of all mankind, appoint a man over this community (the United States) to go out and come in before them, one who will lead them out and bring them in, so the Lord's people will not be like sheep without a shepherd."

I am a lot more involved in this election too - I think we will continue to be as we get older and grow up!
