Almost out of the woods!

Well this morning was the big day for JB.

I'll skip some of the details (I wanted a video to post on youtube or something but apparently they don't let you do that, I have also thought about scanning and posting the pics Dr Gutta gave us but figure that's a quick way to lose a lot of readers and JB would not appreciate that!)

Anyways- we got home from everything at 11:30 and JB has been sleeping hard since then. If you have never had the combination of Versed and Fentanyl under the supervision of a licensed healthcare provider- I will attest that it is one of the best sleeps you can get. Better living through chemistry I always say!!

There is some good news and some bad news. Good news first- no cancer, crohn's, ulcerative colitis or anything like that! Proof that the drugs are good- JB keeps waking up long enough to ask- did Dr Gutta talk to you? Is there cancer? She's probably asked those two questions 20 or 30 times.

The bad news is we still don't know for sure what is causing this mess. Dr Gutta does think it is probably some kind of infection that has gotten in her colon and causing all of this. So after the biopsy results come back in a few days hopefully we can begin some antibiotics and get rid of this.
