Several weeks ago we let Wade mow the yard. Of course, we still supervise when he does it! He has been asking for a long time if he could learn how. He did a really good job. I think David still had to go behind him and get a few spots, but he did really well for an 8 year old!!! I was so proud and so was he.
Both of the boys are playing sports this fall. Needless to say our calendar is booked. Wade is playing baseball and Lafe is playing soccer. I'm sure we'll have some pictures or videos soon. Wade's first game is Thursday (was supposed to be Saturday, but it was cancelled due to rain) and Lafe's first game is this Saturday. I'm really excited. I love watching them play especially when it's something they really want to try! These are new sports for both of them. It's kind of a trial thing to see if we want to keep playing!

Yea, Wade! The other day, Clark and Bennett were making a deal about who "got to" clean the toilets. "You can wipe the counters in this bathroom, but I get to clean the potty." Found myself wondering what I had done to gain such favor... :)
