Mamma Mia!!!

I love Meryl Streep!

Okay, I have to brag on my husband for a little. He took me to see Mamma Mia last night!!! I know there are a lot of husbands out there that would NOT have done this. But, my husband knows my absolute LOVE for musicals and he went willingly. He even enjoyed it! No, he does not need to turn in his "man card." He did it because he loves me and wanted to. Besides, he knew I'd be talking about it and a little obsessed for a few weeks or so. He wanted to know what I was talking about. David really is so sweet and I am so thankful that we love some of the same things. I'm also so proud of him that he is secure enough with himself to do something that will make me happy without worrying what other men might think. THANK YOU, DAVID!!! I love you!

Now, onto the movie. I LOVED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!! In fact, if everything works out, two of my sisters will be going to see it with me next weekend. Halfway through the movie I looked at David and said "I will own this movie." Then, when we got home, I downloaded the music to my iPod. I'm loving it. I do sometimes feel like I'm the only cheesy, hopeless romantic left out there. I love all of the feel good movies. And, I will never pass up a musical. It helps that I was raised watching and appreciating musicals of all kinds. Thanks, Mom & Dad!!! At one point in the movie, I was crying and I was trying to be discreet, but I was unsuccessful. I asked David if I was the only one in the whole theater crying. He didn't think so, but I was unable to find anyone else who looked as if they were crying. I felt a little silly, but then I started thinking about how thankful I am that God made me such an emotional being. I get made fun of for it A LOT!!! Mostly by people I love dearly, so it doesn't hurt too bad. But, this IS one thing about myself that I really do love, and I'm just now growing up enough to realize that I don't need to listen to those people. I like ME!!! Anyway, all that to say, I LOVED THE MOVIE AND I'M PROUD OF IT!!!
