Happy Birthday, Wade!!!

It is so hard to believe that our precious boy is 8 years old today! We had a basketball party this morning. It was lots of fun. Pictures will come later. I haven't downloaded them to my computer yet. He got a Dirk Nowitzki jersee from my mom for Christmas. He got the matching shorts today. He was very excited. He got some more reptile books, a warm-up suit, money, sea monkies, a new basketball net (very cool, it glows in the dark and has beads on it to make a cool sound when the ball goes through it), a sweat band and arm bands, a new karaoke CD (to go with the iPod karaoke machine he got for Christmas), and from us an iPod. He had a lot of fun!!!

Here is a list of things I love about Wade:

1. He is tender-hearted.

2. He loves basketball (I do too). & He's really good at it.

3. He is SMART!

4. He is passionate about everything he does.

5. He loves his brothers.

6. Even after he throws a fit, he can come back and tell me how much he loves me and say he's sorry.

7. He loves God and is very determined to serve Him.

8. Wade was made by God and GIVEN to me as a precious gift. I am eternally grateful for this gift and opportunity to raise a child to love and serve the Lord.
