An update on Wade's school situation:
Wade is LOVING his new teacher. The funny thing is though, his old teacher sent home a resignation note on a Wednesday (a couple of weeks before he was supposed to move classes). Because she was going to be leaving that Friday, the principal decided to go ahead and move Wade to his new class the following Monday. She stated in the letter that family committments were why she was leaving. However, she told the students that she was going back to school to learn how to be a better teacher (this has been confirmed by another teacher and the principal). Wade was sad that she was leaving. He said "But she's getting better. I've been helping her and she's getting better." Yes, you read that right. He's been HELPING HER!!! A 2nd grader should not have to help his teacher remember not to write in cursive and correct her when she puts math problems on the board that are more advanced than what they have learned in 2nd grade. What a sad situation. But, it is all better now because his new teacher is FABULOUS and I think Wade even has a little crush on her. Thank you to all of you who have been praying about this situation and I am sorry that I have been so long in updating you all.
