My mom and dad took the boys and myself to the Fort Worth Cats Baseball game tonight. It was soooooo much fun! The boys did really well. Tonight was kid's night. They were giving away 10 bicycles (none of which our name was drawn for) and they had fireworks after the game. They always let the kids run the bases after every game. So, of course, the boys wanted to do that as well. Therefore, we did not get home until 10 o'clock tonight. Oh well, it was worth it. Their faces as they ran the bases were priceless. Wade was afraid for Lafe to go out there. He kept trying to convince him not to go, but Lafe insisted. I kept reminding Wade that he was Lafe's age when he ran the same bases by himself. Wade decided that it would be a good idea to just hold Lafe's hand the whole way around. It was very sweet and they looked like they were really enjoying themselves. Wade said that he was teaching Lafe that he had to "touch all of the bases in order to make a homerun." They are so sweet. Here are some pictures from our fun night!!! You may have to click on some of the pictures to really see them. Sorry, I uploaded small pics again because there were so many. I'm just thrilled to be able to take them and share them.
AND THEIR OFF!!! Notice the holding hands. I love it!
The boys were waiting in line for their turn to run the bases.
The boys enjoying the fire works. Notice that Wade is covering his ears. He has always loved watching fire works, but he does not like the noise. Lafe thought they were so cool! I wish I could have captured his facial expressions with each fire work that went off. It was so cute!
Is this not one of the sweetest faces ever?! He is such a good, fun, and squishy baby! I love him!!!
I thought that this was a cute picture of my mom and Wade.
Joseph really did enjoy the game, but the only cute pictures I could get were while he was sleeping. He is one really wiggly little boy! (Notice his thunder thighs)

Looks like so much fun!
My parents, my Dad mostly, used to take me and Rachel to basketball games. I really enjoyed them and have some great memories! We even befriended the team and got to ride with them on the charter bus to a game one time. I think it's great that y'all are making similar memories for your boys!
so fun! i especially love the holding hands around the bases (that is priceless) and lafe's hat, he looks adorable.
I would like to remind you that your sweet Joseph's Aunt Kari Ann also could not crawl thank you very much!! I believe it was for the very same reason too. Too fat to get my belly off the ground and legs the size of HAMS!
I think he'll be fine. I am.
Love you all keeping you all in our prayers as you go back to school and new jobs.
Aunt Kari Ann
I miss you!!!
