I know what JB said about my job last night in her post. For the most part I will admit there is a feeling of "coosh" to it at first glance. But what she did not say was that my territory- or hospitals that I will be on call to are over in Duncanville and down in Waxahachie. On the other hand I will be getting reimbursed for miles on my truck, and I LOVE driving my truck. So maybe she is right, but it is a marketing job and if I cannot come through for the team- well nothing is permanent right?
On a different note...I got an early birthday, Christmas, Father's Day, Birthday '08, Christmas '08 present a week or so ago. Take a look at Jake:
Jake is my 10 wk old chocolate lab! I'll admit he was a bit of an impulse acquisition and while I love him and have already bonded with him (he barks when he is in his kennel and I leave the room and he follows me everywhere) but we are not 100% sure he is going to be a permanent fixture. While he is an awesome dog and no doubt will be a loyal pet there are so many "lab puppy" behaviors that are so hard to deal with when there are three small kids in the house and another dog. I or JB will try and post more pics of the dog, the kids, everything- now that she has a new camera. Hope you all had a wonderful weekend and have a great week at work, school or at home- where ever you may be!

jake is beautiful. don't tell travis about him...he will try to steal him! he used to have a black lab named duke that, sadly, ran away. he's quite bitter. so, seriously, don't mention this dog to him!
Jake is sooooo cute! Just remember that the puppy stage only lasts a short time ;) He'll be worth it!!!
I LOVE chocolate labs! Our foster puppy, Fuschia, is a chocolate lab. They are kind of hard during the puppy stage, but very loyal and friendly! Jake is super cute and I know y'all will enjoy him.
