This is a message that was sent to some bigwigs at the hospital. My husband is an AWESOME nurse and I am so proud of him. I know that he has blessed so many other patients through his work. I give praise and honor to God for working through my husband to save and touch lives.
The mother of ******* *********called to express her sincere gratitude for the care and compassion of David Ledbetter in TICU. She said that he made a very emotional and difficult time tolerable. She wanted everyone to know that the care he provided was awesome and wanted him to be recognized.
Side note: David will have two interviews tomorrow for jobs that will take him out of the clinical setting for a little while. We believe that this is a decision that is best for our family at this time. Please be praying that his decision will be easy and that the right job is waiting for him.

Yay David!
Way to go David! I'll be praying for the job situation!
that is awesome!!!
That's really great that David is able to make people feel a little less crappy when they are in the hospital. Changing jobs is a REALLY hard decision to make! I hope that you guys are blessed by whatever comes your way.
What a sweet story! I can't really say that I am surprised, though. After watching David work only a little while in Zambia, I could tell that he had an amazing gift of calming spirit that he transfers to his patients. I'm glad he has been recognized!
