Needed: New Camera!
So, I get home last night and David says "Okay, I'm really going to have to buy you a new camera now." Not a good sign! He said that Lafe was playing with my camera while I was at work yesterday (Not sure why he had it in the first place), and he dropped it. Now when you turn it on, the display is plain white and nothing works. GREAT!!! So, I want all of you out there to tell me what kind of camera you have and a price range. I want a nice one, but I don't want to spend a life's fortune on it either. You never know what will happen!!!

That's funny! I hate he ruined your camera, but maybe this is a sign that he's going to grow up to be some kind of electronics geek. He'd be a really cute geek though.

Hey there...I'm a Nikon fanatic. I have a Nikon Cool Pix. 4.7-14.1mm. 1:2.6-4.7. It's small enough to fit in you purse. This is the one I carry everywhere with me. Price is approx. $200.
The one I use more often is my Nikon D50. This is a much higher quality. You can't take your picture using the display. You have to use the view finder, then you can look at it with the display. It has anything you could ever want on it. Many picture options and shutter speed, you can take the picture however you want to, rather than just point and shoot. It was a bit more, but totally worth it. I think it retails for about $750, but I'm pretty sure I bought it on sale.
JB The food was delicious! There was of course pig, as you saw, as well as purple sweet potatoes, tons of banana bread, beef, chicken, and all kinds of stuff that I don't remember.
I bought the Canon Digital Rebel about 1 1/2 years ago and love it. It sounds similar to Rebecca's Nikon with all of the features. We paid about $900 for it, but I just looked up the price at Circuit City, and it's now priced at $615!!! Good luck with the camera search!!!
