Sorry

Okay, sorry it's been a whole week since my last post!!! Here are some really cute pictures of Joseph. He is getting so big. Ann Stork gave us this adorable outfit!

One of the reasons I have not posted anything recently is because I am extremely busy with school work. This semester is proving to be much more challenging than last semester. The work is not really harder, but in every class so far we have had to do group work. I DO NOT LIKE GROUP WORK!!! It is extremely frustrating because not everyone has the same goals I have. I would really like to make A's in my classes. Not because I HAVE to make A's, just because I want to. It's a personal goal I have set for myself. We, as a group, set deadlines to get our work in so that we can finalize everything before the due date. Well, does everyone meet those deadlines? NO! Therefore, we end up trying to pull our work together at the very last minute. Not only are we doing it at the last minute, but we also have some people in our group turning in work that is seriously on a 5th grade level! YIKES! And some of these people want to go on to graduate school?! This is scary. Besides, we all know that communicating via e-mail is not the best way to communicate. Have any of you ever dealt with a situation like this? Any suggestions as to how to handle it emotionally? I know there's nothing I can do to make other people responsible and respectful of others, but I sure wish I knew a better way to handle my feelings and emotions. Love you all, faithful readers, and hope to keep up better with the posts! Thanks for the support!!!!!!

I'm sorry, jb! I hate groupwork, too. It always takes at least twice as long as if I had just done it myself. I don't really have any ideas to make it better, but I want you to know that I will be thinking about you and praying for you! You are such an amazing wife and mom. I know that I couldn't do all that you do, and you do it with such grace. Love you!

I HATE group work also! I have always dreaded it in school and even today, when the youth group gets into groups on Sundays or Wednesdays to discuss, I just can't do it! I don't have any advice, but I hope your group gets it together and you get that A you deserve. And Joseph looks super cute!

I'm with the rest of the group. Groupwork is only good when 100% of the people make 100% of the effort. I don't have good advice, but if there was someone slacking, I would always just do their part. I was the kid who would rather have an A and do more of the work than to watch someone else slack and get the lower grade. That probably doesn't help their situation and encourages poor work ethic, but it was more important for me to feel good about the project. Good luck!!!

I took an online econ class that had group work. I had the same trouble with some of the girls in my group. In then end me and 1 other girl took turns picking up the slack. Stinks!!!
