David was hired today at Texas Christian University. This will be a second job for him. He will be working 6 hours a week in a Nursing lab teaching students Fundamentals of Nursing. He will be instructing them on the skills such as: urinary catheters, IVs, dressing changes, etc. He's pretty excited about this! He will have his first lab next Tuesday. David is a great teacher. I think that he is a natural at it and I am glad that he is going to be able to use this talent, even if it's a very small amount of time. We'll see if he likes putting up with those college kids. Although, at this point in their education they are studying the stuff that really interests them, so they will probably be good students. He is still trying to decide what kind of graduate work he wants to do. If he decides to go to school to be a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) he will be applying at TCU and Texas Wesleyan. So, I think that being in this position may help him get that necessary foot in the door for when/if he applies at TCU. We'll see. Even if he doesn't his oldest son thinks it's pretty awesome that his Daddy works at TCU. He loves watching them in sports! Anyway, this was probably boring for most of you, but I have to brag on my incredibly smart and talented husband!!!
GO HORNED FROGS!!!

That sounds like fun! College kids...hm...you don't have to deal with angry parents, and if the kid bothers you to much, you threaten to drop them from the course. I hope that he enjoys it! Is he thinking that he wants to teach full time at some point?
Yea!!! That's awesome! Congratulations David
Wow! Weren't you both education majors at one point? That is awesome that he is going to be teaching! Tell him congrats and love ya big brother! :)
That is great! Congrats to David!
