Trying the Picture Thing

This is one of my favorite pictures of David. He went to Zambia this past July for 3 weeks on a medical mission trip. I love seeing this picture of him using his talents that God has given him to treat this child in the name of God. He is such a wonderful husband, and I feel very blessed to call him mine. I love HIM!!!!!

This is a not-so-good picture of me at our shower at our church. Probably the only pregnant pic you will see of me.

This is Lafe Ellis. He is now 3 years old. He is such a happy and obedient little one. Don't get me wrong. He's a boy, and he's 3. Therefore, he does like to challenge me at times, but overall he is a pretty easy going little boy. He goes to Sonshine Bible School two days a week, and loves it. Lafe has a very tender heart.

This is Wade (David Wade, III). He is 6 years old, and will turn 7 on Jan. 5. He is in 1st grade and one of the smartest kids I know. I love his enthusiasm for learning. At this point in time, he wants to be a herpetologist when he grows up. He loves snakes, lizards, turtles, frogs, etc. He is definitely the picture for strong willed, but I think that will work to his advantage one of these days. He is already a leader and loved by most everybody.

I can't wait for them to meet their little brother soon. They are both getting very excited. Wade is already such a good big brother, and I look forward to seeing him teach Lafe how to be a big brother to Joseph.

I am reading a Nicholas Sparks book called Three Weeks with My Brother. It is so good. I love Nicholas Sparks in the first place, but reading this makes me so happy to have all little boys. I think that every boy needs to have a brother. It is a special bond that we cannot even begin to fathom.

I will post more pics of the family as soon as Joseph decides to grace us with his presence. If that ever happens. I will be 38 weeks tomorrow. This is the longest I have ever been pregnant. I know that I should be grateful, but it is hard having never experienced these last few weeks of pregnancy before. I'm definitely feeling desperate and emotional. It doesn't help that I currently have a really bad cold, cough, and am not feeling well despite the pregnancy.

Yay! See...it's not that hard to post pics :) I remember seeing that picture of David somewhere (was it on the missions blog?) and thinking that it was a neat picture! Thanks for posting a picture of you pregnant for those of us who don't get to see you! You look so cute! I can't believe you're 38 weeks and still pg! I also can't believe that within the next few weeks you'll have THREE little boys!!!! I can't wait to see Joseph at Christmas!
